Allyson Florkowski is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating a range of mental health and psychosocial challenges. She earned her Master of Social Work from Sacred Heart University, her bachelor’s degree from the University of Lynchburg, and also holds a master’s degree in communications from Iona University.
Allyson utilizes an integrative, evidence-based approach to treatment, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions, parenting strategies, and social skills training. She has worked with individuals experiencing ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, trauma-related symptoms, and behavioral challenges.
