Bringing over 3 decades of professional experience as a board certified Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner. Dedicated to compassionate psychiatric treatment , diagnostic assessments and medication management. Specializing in adult psychiatric care. Providing treatment for conditions such as bipolar, dual diagnosis, schizophrenia , ADHD , depression , anxiety, trauma related conditions and behavioral symptoms associated with medical conditions such as dementia or developmental disabilities.
Graduated from Columbia University in New York with a doctorate in health education , master of nursing science from the University of Saint Joseph in Connecticut (cum laude and president of the esteemed nursing honor society Sigma Theta Tau) , post masters training in addictionology from Rutgers University in New Jersey. She has been trained as a psychotherapist and prescribing nurse practitioner. Held lead clinical and administrative positions at psychiatric hospitals in and outpatient settings, also worked as adjunct professor in Florida and CT universities including Yale University and University of Saint Joseph.
